Today is Friendship Day (well, in my school it is), and we celebrated it by having our CLE and Science periodical exams, killing ourselves (well, i think) with the computations on the average atomic mass crap. Kidding. Well we did have that, but we really celebrated friendship day afterwards :)
Well, it was just like before. We gave letters rather than gifts (but yes of course, a lot of them still gave tiny presents, mostly chocolates) because of I-don't-exactly-know how many reasons, but my reasons are that I'm trying to save money, and that I just wanted to give them something that will really leave an impact on the person (as if my letters did just that xD). I think a handwritten letter (which made my hand super duper SORE) is the best gift. I dunno, I think I wrote... more or less 30 letters. Oh just imagine staying up late at night, with pieces of paper all around you, writing letters, thinking of something original and witty to write, feeling really heavy around the eyes, and your hand buzzing. As in literally buzzing (like, the buzzing on Y!M). I remember trying to stretch my hand after writing all those letters, and squinting from all the pain, as if your hand were a pencil on a pencil sharpener. Oh the pain of it all. Anyway, enough about my hand, I wrote those letters from the bottom of my heart (though, I have to admit it, a few of them contained almost the same message). Then I had to fold, fold, fold, then tape, tape, tape. I only enveloped 4 letters though. I used this pretty shiny purple envelope. Hahaha. But I guess all of that trouble was worth it, seeing my friends receiving the letters, then seeing them smile and say thank you and then they'd get all hyper. Haha! It's the thought that counts, I guess, no matter how ugly your handwriting has become after writing a lot, and how unruly you've ripped the paper apart (well, in my case. I used construction paper, then ripped them into equal pieces for more pieces of paper. But mind you, I rip paper quite well. HAHA. lol)
I got a few gifts. A fan, a bracelet-slash-watch, chocolates, and a chocnut. I received mostly letters. I got about, yeah, more or less 30 also. Haha! It felt really good, because our classmates were distributing the letters around, and I kept on hearing my name. I felt really... friendly. Ngek. Hahaha! 30's not really a big number, but knowing that I have at least 30 people who bothered shredding their own hands for me really meant a lot ;) Bryanboy did it. Bianca Gonazales followed, and Niknok too.
Now it's my turn! LOL. Here's my open letter to someone
not that famous (lol) but someone very important as well :)
♥ah, and the letter I wrote to Ronnie.
