Time I haven't updated my blog: forever.

I'm just super busy with school stuff. Research, Math, Songfest, HomeReadingReport for English, etc. Though I'm always online and sometimes I find some free time, I still won't update because my blog's deserted. Hahaha! Pity my entries, only one or two comments each. Fewer tags. Almost no new link exs. Tsk.

Shogun
  • The military rulers of Japan before 1868, nominally subordinate to the emperor.
  • A barbarian subduing General (war lord)
  • The first novel in James Clavell's Asian Saga.
I've been reading Shogun by James Clavell, a 1000+ paged book (imagine: as thick as the lenght of your pinky finger) Hahaha!
[Summary at the back] Pilot-Major John Blackthorne, who is shipwrecked on Japan, the most alien of shores. The novel charts Blackthorne's rise from the status of a reviled foreigner up to the heights of trusted advisor and, eventually, samurai. All as civil war looms over the fragile country.
I chose this book for my home reading report well, because you all know how much of a Japanese-addict I am and I got really interested with the book cover - simple, yet striking. LOL. Ronnie and I are reading the same book, to make it easier, so we can share opinions and such. Haha!
This book is really a good read, even if I am only at chapter 7. It's full of suspense, morbidity, history, blow-by-blow badmouthing, wisdom and fun (lol, the characters are so funny, especially the English people). It's really a good book. Haha!

That's it. i'm done. I did my part already. LOL :)
