My life is power-dependent.

I'm in RCBC Plaza right now, in my mom's office.
You all know about the storm right? That's the very reason why I'm here right now, hahaha. The power at home was cut off since yesterday (because of the strong winds that cut some of the power lines), no phone line, no water (gaaahd, my village sucks), etc. My family checked-in a hotel (I guess without electricity I cannot survive) and I went all the way here in RCBC Plaza just to charge my phone. Hahaha, CIVILIZATION AT LAST! The only crappy thing is that there's no YM here in the computer i'm using >:[

About this entry's title, I got the idea from Discovery Channel's show, Perfect Disaster (Ice Storm episode). It was about some ice storm thingy, blah blah blah (just Google it or maybe look for it in Discovery's site). Their power was also cut off right there and then the narrator said something that sorta goes like "People who do not depend much on electricity or power will most likely be the ones to survive..." I was explaining this and that to my dad last night while staring at the candle. I asked him stuff like "If people were like this during the early days, how on Earth did they manage to survive?*" Oh but yes, my dad always manages to give me juicy, intellectual, studyante-ng-UP answers; "The people managed to survive because they had no power yet, therefore they never felt that they lacked something, and they are already contented with what they have*" Hahaha, and I was like "Uhhhh" -ponders on that thought and stares at the candle some more- :))

> I'm going to eat dinner here in RCBC with my mom. Yaaaay! I hope I could drop by Starbucks and get something nice and warm for my throat (I forgot to bring my Strepsils at home).
> I bought the october issue of Candy. Whoopee! LOL.
> I hope there would still be no classes on Monday (which I doubt because I think the storm's over).

Ahhh, isn't life grand?
My phone's almost done charging.

Ahhh, got some coffee from the pantry. I know coffee is bad but what can I do? I badly needed to drink something warm and I don't really think hot water and cream taste good xD.
I like the office's pantry. So cozy and stylish and all. :))
