LTs have been returned (except in Math, i think) and so far, I have failed none (Math will be the first. Haha!) Though few of my scores were pasang awa, I was one of the highest scoring people in class. Ex-pilot eh. Hahaha! If I were still in the pilot class, I would have buried myself alive already.
But really, it feels kinda nice to, at least, be "smart" once again. My experience in the pilot class has totally devastated my reputation as a nerd because the pilot class is like, one big competition. I was basically grouped with the brainy ones, and that made me inferior, in a way. I was one of the people who were the lowest (not all the time though :P) and that's why I just slacked off with my studies last year. I guess I just got tired of reaching for excellence because I knew for myself anyway that it is impossible for me to beat the brainy ones, such as our salutatorian and the top 5. I think I was only somewhere in between the top 30-40. Haha!
I remember the first day of classes last year (First Year) when I was walking around the HS lobby. I was looking for my section in the Freshman bulletin board thingy and I saw my name under 1E. I was relieved because I didn't really want to be part of the pilot class. Then I saw names. Janine Noblezada, Miguel Perez, Jeffrey Pasia... I was mortified! I thought that the pilot class would be 1A. The rest of the day went on with my complaints. I thought that my freshman year would be over. [Now let's skip the blah blah part and fast forward] But I now realize that being part of the pilot class is not really a curse, or a reward. It was a privilege. But really, being in a normal, average class makes me stand out. ^_^ (that sounded so mayabang. waaaa!)
So anyway, I am assigned to do the opening prayer for our flag ceremony next week. O______O Grr! But i cannot say no anyway, since I think that in doing so, I will gain plus points in my diligence-nerdy-diskarte thingy. Haha! It's just that I have to be extra early, I have to create the prayer, and I have to recite the Augustinian Jubilee prayer. I can not recite it though, but I'll just write it down incase. I suck at memorizing. Memorization is the lowest form of (insert forgotten word here), as said by Sir Dizon. Haha!
School things to do for now
Arrgh, more work for me.
P.S.
Do you get that weird, funny feeling when you learn something about something, feel extra happy for the rest of the day, but then you doubt it after much pondering because you realize want proof? Tisssss.
P.P.S.
Thanks to all commenters! Kahit konti lang, nagiimprove naman!
