My mom's office held it's summer outing today at Villa Escudero. I didn't take the bus (rented by the office) and rode on a van instead with Kim, Joanne, Kat, my mom, kat's mom and brother, kim's sister and manang, joanne's mom, kuya don and nicole. hahaha. the roadtrip was about 3 hours? and i spent it - iPodding. yeah i was pretty bored and i think my mind wasn't working well yet so i wasn't able to start a conversation with Kim and Joanne. i didn't fall asleep though. haha. when we got there my mind was like "Oh, we're here?" hahahaha!!! yeah so we stepped out of the van (i jumped out) and inhaled the fresh (right) air of Villa Escudero and the first thing i thought of was "Oh, the road is rocky." haha. then we unloaded the van and went inside the hall already, and we were served with ice-cold gulaman. it didn't taste like the gulaman i got addicted to in school, for it tasted like bubblegum, and was too sweet. but hey, it was ice cold *yum* haha. then there were lots of Seniors (as in the elderly) and they were wearing the same shirt which said something like emerald reunion, or was it emerald anniversary? bleah. something like that. there were lots of people actually... lots of people. it was kinda funny - the way the staff wore Filipiniana costumes and only few of them seemed to truly "wear" it. haha. then we were escorted to the Carabao ride thingy which will lead us to the main place i think... yeah we (Joanne, Kim, and I) took lots of pictures of the Carabaos - and ourselves. haha! we were so vain! and so baliw! hahahah!!! ang ingay ingay namin dun! hahaha!!! yeah so when we got there, the first thing we did was to eat lunch. i saw Tintin :)haha! yeah we ate lunch the normal way people ate there - by the (fake) waterfalls. haha! (it really reminded me of our Outbound Education [Field Trip for short] at Biak-Na-Bato... when we were just fooling around in the shallow river... haaay. haha!) Kat's slipper got natangay (lol ionno what the english of this is) while eating but good thing someone saw it and grabbed it before it went all the way down to the river. haha! lol. the food was great, but i didn't eat that much. the pork BBQ was burnt, the chicken was good (but i only had one piece), i didn't taste the orange beef thingy, and i did not eat fish. haha! i enjoyed the sago with gata (coconut milk?) though. haha yum! i kept on freaking out everytime a (large-sized) leaf would hit my foot, thingking that it might be something. haha! then Kim would suddenly freak out too coz it will hit her next (she sat right infront of me) haha! the crap. this wet-damp-gross tissue paper hung over my slippers. arrrgh. hahaha! ick! LOL. Kat dumped some food in the water... hmm wonder if someone felt it ride their feet. bwahahaha! it was fun. my first time to eat with soggy, prune-y feet. haha! yeah so after that, we went to this museum... it was not much of a museum... it was only small, and i have been to better museums. but it was kinda fun. haha! (reminded me of my grade 6 and 7 field trips). my favorite part of the museum? the super big electric fans. bwahahahahahaha!!! x) kidding aside, i really enjoyed looking at the different dolls of different countries, the big (torn) Japanese flag with lots of Japanese writing, the Japanese costume (Geisha + Samurai = HOT) and the butterfly collection (yes, it freaked me out. yes, i wanted to run away, but it was so amusing. lol). haha! then after that we rode the Carabao ride again, and this is where i got this post's title. you see, Joanne's mom was calling for a Carabao... she was like "Kalabaw! Kalabaw!" but she was actually calling out to one of the staff. Joanne Kim and I didn't mind it at first until Joanne (or Kim?) said that it was as if Joanne's mom was calling the staff a Kalabaw. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! then the staff girl even looked!!! so it looked like she really was a kalabaw!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! men, if you were in this situation, you'd really laugh hard, like us. LOL. yeah so then we got the pool area already and i didn't swim because i had my dot so they just swam (with Tintin). so i just took pictures and stuff - not of the people but of random stuff. like the trees, some nipa huts, the sky, a few palm trees... it really got me interested in Photography. hahaha! yeah, i wasted the battery of my brother's camera. :P haha! but it was fun! i learned to take pictures in different angles and stuff... so fun. LOL. yeah then after about 2 hours of them swimming and i bumming, we had our mirienda (spell?) in this big hall... so yeah, Kim and I occupied one table. just Kim and me. LOL. we didn't really like what we ate (it was mami... or batchoy? or something like that) and the buko juice. OH THE BUKO JUICE. it tasted like dishwashing soap with water and a few buko slices + the juice. damn. so i bought Royal tru orange for Kim and I. LOL. haha! then we ordered Halo-Halo (yum!!!) hahaha!!! then after that, Kim, Joanne, Kat and i decided to ride on one of their bamboo balsa. It was scary at first (especially given the fact that the lake was like 30 ft.) but heck, i just dared myself to go. hahaha! so yeah, Kim and I went on one balsa then Joanne and Kat went on another one. hahaha it was super fun! haha kinda scary nga lang haha pero sanayan lang. lol. Kim and I had a problem steering the balsa thingy... LOL. so we were like, experimenting with different rowing patterns until we found the rights ones and started to actually enjoy it. haha! the paddle was super heavy but hey, it's excercise. :P we got hit by another balsa once... then we bumped into a tree on the other side. LOL. hahaha it was super fun talaga. hahaha!!! we saw lots of yucky plants floating in the water... hahaha!!! we were really enjoying it... haha good thing there was no time limit but they called us to go back na coz the balsa thingy was gonna close already. so yeah. it was super fun! haha! it's probably the best-est part in Villa Escudero. LOL. damn. hahaha!!! then we went home already after fixing our things and stuff... then before leaving we checked out the pictures and i bought one of them - a picture of us in the Carabao ride thingy - which costed Php100. damn. haha but hey the picture looks good. thought the only reason i wanted it is i was in the picture and i looked good. hahahaha!!! vain me. tsk tsk! LOL. so yeah... then we bought water while waiting for the others... their Chicharon is so mahal... Php50 for one pack?! -_- hellooooooooo... yeah so then when we were in the van already we were just taking pictures until the sun went down... the roadtrip was super long due to heavy traffic. yeah so we were goofing around with the cam and it was super fun. haha! then we exchanged ghost stories and all... haha then we started talking about the creation theory vs the evolution theory. hahaha! then suddenly our topic became PBBTE. bwahahahaha!!! one story often leads to another. hahaha! haaay... then we dropped Joanne, her mom, Kat, Her brother and her mom off somewhere (near Jolibee so i was like "Ohhhh Jolibeeeeee") so we said our goodbyes and all then we left. Kim and I didn't talk that much anymore after that. haha i guess we got tired. i got tired plus my neck super ached. hahaha! yeah then we all got home. then i watched PBBTE haha! lol then i slept. hahaha!
oh yeah i forgot to mention, i wore the white shorts kim and i redecorated. haha! it was actually a pedal p. that kim and i cut into shorts (out of dead boredom) and i stitched some vintage patterns on the pocket side and all. haha! wala lang. i really loved it. LOL.
so today. haha i think we're going to go grocery shopping later after lunch. haaay. i think i'm still to tired and lazy to go out. haaay. hahaha. so yeah.
i'm gonna post a few pics later... haha. i have lots of pics in my phone but i can't post them here coz my bill is too high i and i don't have bluetooth (damn Sony Ericsson lol) haaay. lol.
sayounara! ciao! paalam! au revior (sp?)! goodbye!
